February 2026 - Some pages do quiet but important work. Giving, safeguarding and contact pages may not feel exciting, but they carry trust. They should be easy to find, easy to understand and carefully maintained.
Treat trust pages as core pages
These pages should not be hidden in footers only. People look for them when they need confidence, help or reassurance.
- Giving: Explain how gifts are used, how to give securely and who to contact with questions.
- Safeguarding: Show policy links, reporting routes and named contacts clearly.
- Contact: Separate general enquiries from pastoral, hall hire or safeguarding routes where useful.
Remove avoidable hesitation
Small details can make these pages feel more trustworthy.
- Use current names and email addresses.
- Avoid vague button labels such as click here.
- Test every form notification after making changes.
Trust is built in the details people notice when they need help.
Use this month well
Use February to make the practical pages easier to reach and easier to act on. It is a small improvement with a large pastoral effect.
