Planning Advent and Christmas Without Website Clutter

10 November 2025

November 2025 - November is when Christmas information starts competing for space. The challenge is to make everything visible without turning the homepage into a crowded notice sheet.

Create one Christmas hub

A single Christmas page keeps services, concerts, family events, giving projects and contact details together.

  • Service list: Show dates, times, style of service and whether booking is needed.
  • Families: Highlight Christingle, crib, nativity and all-age services clearly.
  • Visitors: Explain what to expect and where to ask questions before attending.

Keep the homepage calm

The homepage should point to Christmas without trying to hold every detail.

  1. Add one strong Christmas panel or button.
  2. Use the hub page for the full schedule.
  3. Remove or replace the panel as soon as the season is over.

Christmas content needs warmth, but it also needs order. People should be able to find the right service in seconds.

Use this month well

Use November to build the hub, test the links and give regulars one page they can confidently share.
